Music Production

Computer-based production has great potential, but in the wrong hands it can be amateurish. I understand a solid background in tried and true audio principles is necessary to make great records. In my hands, Pro Tools reaches its full potential, as a complement to using great mics, pro outboard gear and talented musicians.

As a producer, you have to do what's necessary to bring a song to life.  Sometimes it's motivating the artist; other times it's changing the arrangement and adding parts.  Often it's just about capturing a brilliant moment.
